Pfil placed the last twig into place, then looked over her handywork. Ah, a perfect nest. She smiled....then her face fell as she realised how big and alone it was. Oh Pamila....where are you? How can I find you? This city is so big, so strange. She could feel the creatures here, her antennae throbbed with their numbers. Vampires, werewolfs, magic users....and humans, oh so many humans.And one of them MUST know where Pamila was. Well, there was no time to waste. She flew out of the tree and began to look around.

"Get back here!" Screamed a 17 year old throughout the park. When a few humans stopped their walk to look at him, Tucker blushed and waved. When the humans went back to their business, Tucker watched the leech - a vampire, but Tucker called them leechs. -run away into the shadows. Sighing heavily Tucker frowned and collapsed onto a bench. Oh how he craved for a bed to lay in now. Living two lives wasn't really easy. Human by day, Vampire hunter by night. If it made matters "better", Tucker lived by myself and had ot support himself.
Sighing quietly, Tucker sat up and slowly walked toward a tree. The strength that was passed down to him, got Tucker to grab a branch of a tree. He lifted himself up, then began to climb the tree rather pickly. When he was high enough, the vampire was in the distance. Sighing once more, Tucker slowly got down to a low brnach. Though briefly, he stopped to look at a knot inside a tree. It appeared there was a nest there. Quickly, Tucker glanced around the nest checking for eggs but saw none. He looked down but saw no cracked eggs. Wierd, none.
Tucker cautiously krept onto a strong branch, layed down, and relaxed. One leg dangled down, the other was propped on the Tree trunk, and one hand was made as a pillow. The other hand hanged down, only to protect himself. There on his wrist had a knife sheath. The blade which showed had dirty black blood on it. Plus both sides on his waist had extra knives. Another showed which had a built in sheath on Tucker's black boots.
Tucker's eyes were almost closing now and then, planning to take a nice nap to sooth all ofthe running he did tonight. Though-What Tucker didn't know was....The knot in the hole wasn't occupied by birds.
(Hope you don't mind I posted. Couldn't resist.)

(That's ok, it's nice to have someone to talk to.)
Pfil flew across the small woods. She'd asked a number of creatures here, but none of them had ever seen a fairie before. They hadn't been able to help her. Pfil was tired and decided to go back to her home. She landed on the branch her nest was built in. As she looked down, she saw a human laying on a branch in another tree. She bit her lip. She hadn't dealt with humans for such a long time. But it had been a human that had taken them, perhaps she should ask one....
She flew down to the other tree and landed on the trunk. Walking down it she looked into his huge face. He seemed quite nice looking, for a human.
"Heya!? Ara yew slepin then?" she called to him.

Perking his eyebrows a bit, Tucker could swear he heard a voice. Turning, he saw nothing, cauitously, Tucker reached for a hilt of the knife that was at his waist. With a sudden reflex he turned the opposite way, his knife up. His knife paused in the air, when he caught something on the branch next to him. Shaking his head a bit, Tucker leaned closer to the little thing. A person? "Sneaking up on people isn't the best idea to do around here. Even at night" Tucker hissed, while he drew his knife back into his sheath. Tucker continued, "This is what happens." ANd he showed the little person his black bloody knife that was still on his wrist. The blood still looked fresh.

Pfil looked at the human curiously, trying to work out what he'd said. Something about waking, or snaking....? From the way he pointed at his knife it seemed to be a sort of threat. She fluttered up and hovered before his face. She had to be brave and try again.
"Ah, I ahm lurking foor mah friend. She ahr ah Farey like meh."
Pfil really, really wished she'd had more practice talking to humans.

Tucker watched as the little thing fly toward his face, fly away then come back. Then when she spoke, it was his turn to be curious when she spoke. It took him a few moments to figure out what she was trying to say. "Your lookin' for a friend eh?" He translated to her. Briefly, Tucker paused the convo to look behind the little person flyin'. Then set his eyes at her. "I...know...nothing...." He said simply, and slowly. "I...Vamp-pire hunter....Your the only...little person...I ever seen. I...run to much...." He added.
((Suxs but I gotta go get ready for babysitting. Heh...10 minutes to get ready....))

"Vham-pyre?" Pfil was disapointed, but also puzzled. What was a vhampyre? A sort of beetle? No, with such big knives, it had to be more than a beetle. Maybe a big cat. And he hunted them? Was he like her? Perhaps humans were not so different then. she had an idea. She flew back up to her nest and took off her clothes. She then quickly flew down to the base, so that the man wouldn't see her. She quickly landed and looked around. Not seeing anyone around, she stood behind the tree.
"Namuh se tah y emokeb." she said. As the words left her mouth they swirled around her, wreathing her in a smoke that rose upwards. When it cleared, Pfil stood there, in human form. She quickly dragged on the human clothes she'd hidden there and stepped back out. She cupped her hands and called up.
"Ho! Ah ahm gaing tah lurk fur mah friend. Fank yew fur yer taam." She turned and started to walk away.

Tucker perked an eyebrow once again as the little person flew away. Maybe he scared her. Tucker stood up on the branch he was standing on, to look in the distance. His eyes squinted a bit. Then loooking down, a person was calling up to him. Ok, now Tucker was confused with this thing. Tucker glanced at the area he was staring at then quickly got out of the tree as fast as he could.
Just behind the human....little person...thing.....Tucker walked. At first, his hands were in his pockets, and his head was down. When they were getting closer to the exist. Tucker walked side-by-side the human type girl. His heart was pounding ten times more.
Suddenly a "human" male came out of the shadows, glaring at Pfil. Tucker quickly fled into a shadowy area...
The "human" male smiled wickedly at Pfil, then let it turn into a calm one. "Hello. What are you doing out here all by yourself, little girl?" He spoke, rather charmly. The male loked to be 22. His eyes glowed a dark blue....no...maybe it was a black. ....Contacts? His hair was a jet black color, that looked to be buzzed. His skin looked pale, from the lack of the sun. His shirt was a blood red tank top, which was covered mostly by a black open shirt. His slacks were black. His boots sheened nicely from the New York Lights behind him.
((Hope that good post, makes up for not posting. ^_^ Very sorry ))

Pfil was confused. Where had he gone? She glanced around, but couldn't see the human who had been walking behind her. He'd disappered when this human had...but no, this couldn't be a human. His very presance was making her feel sick, the nausea crawling up her throat. Whatever this was, it wasn't human. She hadn't felt like this for forty years, not since the time they'd driven the banshee out of their forest. This was something dangerous before her.
But what could she do? In human form she did not have her whip, and her limbs were still awkward and clumsy, far too heavy to fight. She started to back away.
"Ahm not lit'le . Ahm Unnerd an sevnteen. Ahm lurking fur mah friend....Sheh's a fary cahlled Pamila."

(( Vaction mode took over.  Now that Vaction is comnig to an end.....I guess I'm heading back into my roleplay mode on S2B. lol. ))
At first, the man had to pause for a moment to try amd create her utters into words. (no offense) "A hundred and 17? Is that right?" he said with a interest. "Well I am Two hundred and twenty three years old." He replied. His voice was so straight...it was hard to figure out if he was joking..or not.
Then his smile widen a bit more, a casual kinda smile. "A friend you say? Oh..Pamila? I know where she is. Matter a fact, her and I are really good friends. Would you like me to take you to her?"

(None taken. She has a really weird accent, a little Irish, but more something else. She'll get better as we go along.)
223? Pfil had had no idea humans could live so long. And he knew where Pamila was! Pfil couldn't belive her luck, to find someone who could help her so soon. There was still the sick feeling, but she ignored it in her desire. After all, she hadn't known any humans before now. Maybe some of them just felt like this.
"Owh yes, yes! Pleas taek meh tae her."
Pfil moved forwards, but as she moved towards him, something made her pause. 'her and I are really good friends.' ....But Pamila didn't know any humans either....
Pfil screamed as the man suddenly lunged at her, bearing her to the ground. He pinned her to the ground with his legs. She tried to fight, but he was too strong.

((Keep in mind to not glob mod to much. Luckily the vampire I am playing isn't one of my true vampires so I don't mind it. Jus' keepin' ya in check. ))
A hidden smirk was revealed when she was coming closer to him. She was so close....and the blood inside her...oh the temptation. The temtpation grew more as she paused. Impatient, The man threw her to the ground, pinning her down with his legs. His smirk grew until two big canines showed. With his tongue, the man cleaned from the left fang......to the front teeth....across until his tongue went to his right fang. His dirty hand covered her mouth, as his head lowered down to the main artery. Before he could sink his teeth into that tender part, something hard bounced off his head. Growling angerily, he looked up to see what it was. A rock..?
Shaking his head once, he leaned down again. Though as before, another rock hit against his skull. A growl became louder, and more angrier. The man searched the darkness behind him...but there was nothing. Impatiently, The man stood up, dragging Pfil with him by the neck, and descided to feed by the wall. Angerly, he pushed Pfil against a near by brick wall. This time, the attacker didn't wait for the vampire to make his move. Out of the darkness, a man took down the vampire by surprise, causing both to hit the dirty ground.
They were both in spotlight from a dim lamp. The vampires face was seen better, so many scars were all over his face. And the attacker-well that was Tucker. "I finally got you." Tucker sneered. Without Hesiation, he pulled out a knife from the waist and stabbed the 22 year old directly into the heart. Slowly, painfully, and threatenly, Tucker pulled out his knife..black blood coming with it. No sooner, The vampires big eyes glared up at the dim light...and stood still. "He will turn into ash in a hour or so." Tucker explained, as he slowly approached Pfil. "I hope he didn't hurt you. Sorry I played you like that. If I didn't kill that vampire...He'd keep killing. He has killed more then 25 humans in a week and a half." Tucker looked down at his bloody hands, grinned, then looked up at Pfil. "I'm the good guy, I wont hurt you. I only hunt those creepy demons-Well they are vampires..."

Pfil shook with fear at what she'd seen. She tried to back away, but her back scraped against the wall.
"Vhampyre....? Taht ware a vhampyre?" She looked down at the strange man...she'd seen teeth like that before, in the mouth of a fox. It had been eating a rabbit. Now Pfil knew what the rabbit must have felt before the kill. Suddenly she threw her arms around the man, sobbing. "Oh....oh t'hank yew, t'hank yew....." she cried into his neck.
