((This is gonna suck, I already know it.))

Through the Shadows and up the Streets, it felt like days running away from hunter's chasinng them down. Twise Benjamyn could hear Jakob made a ruthless growl of hatred as they ran for safety and twise he could feel the anger in his brothers dead veins. It was weeks as they stayed in a abandon house, Benjamyn hated not going outside to wander the streets.

"Jakob, I want to leave...I don't want to stay here anymore." Benjamyn would conplain, as he laid on the wooden floor, while his brother would pace viciously upstairs. And after moments of silence Benjamyn would speak again, "The hunters are gone...aren't they? They wouldn't really gather up a huge party to just find us? Would they? Jakob, I'm going to drive myself insane..." Jakob would often glance down at his twin, with his midnight black eyes but would never speak.

Another day went by, and both boys grew reckless, Jakob kept to himself, sitting on the upstairs railing, one leg hanging down. And while he fell sleep, he looked dead to the bone. However, Benjamyn could almost fall sleep by the window at times, feeling scared of being hunted down like a mouse in the cat's clutchs. More then once, Benjamyn broke, and crahsed around furenture, only wanting to be left alone. "I don't want to be hunted!!!!!" He would scream, and dropped to his knees.

Then one night, while Jakob still slept on the rialing, Benjamyn slept on the floor of in an old library....Benjamyn turned to look at the front door, his nerves rising...

((Hey, that's ok. I'm willing to bet that mine isn't gonna be all that great either. ^_^ It'll still be fun, though. :-X Hehe...))

"I honestly don't see why we took this job." Dusty whispered harshly in his sister's mind. He'd had enough of these two particular vamps, and in all honesty... He didn't really want to see them dead, no matter how much he despised Jakob. Benjamyn, at least, had a good heart.

"Because if we didn't, someone else would have." Winter responded simply, not explaining anything. If she weren't so distracted by tracking the auras of the twin vampires, she probably would've realized just how annoyed Dusty was getting at her. Every time he asked her why they were doing this, she always said the same thing. And it still wasn't getting any clearer to him.

Dusty groaned inwardly. He couldn't tell if his sister was doing this on purpose just to screw with him or if she truly didn't realize how much of a twit she was being. "Are we really going to go this, then?" He asked her mentally. "Are we seriously going to kill Jakob and Benjamyn?"

Winter cast a glance over her shoulder at her brother as they crept through an area between two houses. "Only if we have to." She informed him simply.

"Well. According to our little benefactor - whoever he is - we do." Dusty shot back, his annoyance rising. He hated not knowing who he was working for. Even more, he hated not knowing why he was doing what he was doing. And to make matters worse... He had sworn off hunting these two ages ago. A pity that Winter hadn't followed suite. Then maybe he wouldn't be breaking his personal vow.

Winter shook her head, a little exasperated by her brother. This was important. Something that she hadn't told the man who she talked to about the case was that she had no intention of killing either of the vampires unless they made her do it themselves. She had a bad feeling about the person who had hired them, especially since the man who enlisted them was just a hired helper. Or a minion, as Winter preferred to think of him. She had to talk to the twins and see if they knew anything... Because something just wasn't right about all of this. And Dusty was making it increasingly difficult to track them. "Will you be quiet? I'm trying to concentrate." She snapped. She hated being rude to her twin, but this was important.

Dusty was taken aback by his sister's tone. "Fine." He thought back sullenly as he followed her out and around one of the houses. Even though this place was, for the most part, rather decrepit, the houses in this area still held a certain measure of grandeur. He sniffed the air, picking up a trace of vampiric aura that didn't belong to either of the twins. "Winter-" He began.

"I smell it, too." She responded, also sniffing slightly. The magical scent was rank and awful, denoting a particularly foul vampire. "It's coming from over there." She said, gesturing slightly toward a house two doors down. Unconsciously, she and her twins clasped hands and she sent her mind out toward the house. She sensed two familiar auras inside. "It seems we aren't the only ones stalking Ben and Jakob." She informed her brother as she opened his eyes. "They're in there, too. C'mon." Not caring who saw, she transported herself just inside the front door.

Dusty followed behind swiftly. "So, what... Are we gonna save them or are we here to kill them?" He demanded, wanting very dearly to know what he was getting himself into by coming into this house.

"Shh..." She responded, then gestured for him to follow her. She followed the scent of the strange vampire up the stairs. He was standing in front of a closed door in the second floor hallway, appearing to be gathering energy for an assault. She ducked back around the corner and peered around it, sending out an undetectable sensor to pick up any info she could on him. "Seems like a rather powerful leech...." She mind-whispered to her brother.

Dusty peered around the corner and wrinkled his nose. "So... Shall we attack him now or wait until he's done?" He asked sarcastically. Usually he and Winter were a team, but this time it was proving to be more Winter's mission than his own. He knew well enough that the best time to strike would be before the leech gathered anymore power.

Winter gave her brother a sour look, then closed her eyes to gather a bit more power of her own as her brother followed suite. Within seconds, they both had their own magical auras that were invisible to the naked eye. "Let's get 'im." She said in her brother's mind.

Without further ado, the twins jumped from behind their hiding places and sent waves of energy at the vamp, successfully distracting him from his energy gathering. He turned on them just in time for Dusty to kick him in the ribs and send him crashing through he door. Winter shot her brother a withering look. This wasn't how she had wanted to make their entrance. "Hi guys." She said to the twins as the vampire attempted to recover himself.

The second the vampire had recovered, he caught site of Benjamyn. Seeing his prey, he lunged at him. But Dusty had other ideas. A tendril of blue light caught around each of the vamps arms. "Little help?" He asked, giving the twins a hopeful look.

((OK. I know this isn't quite what we discussed... but I like it. ^_^ I hope you do, too.))

Benjamyn kept still where he was, taking note at the aruas around him. The vampiric one, though, made him more nervous. "Jakob..." Benjamyn muttered, feeling it coming closer. And when he caught site at him, Benjamyn could only stare, "Jakob,....." His tone was more then nervous as he began to back away from the deadly vampire.

Jakob's eyes opened at the sound of the door falling to the ground. He didn't move where he sat, only to blend in where he sat. Benjamyn's quiver's echoed in his head even when he didn't thought-spoke. He watched his brother more then the vampire as he sheathed his head when the vampire was about to lung toward him. Jakob only frowned, shook his head, and slid off the cill. "Come Benjamyn, It is our turn." Jakob said as he walked toward the vampire, Benjamyn nervously following him.

THough, Benjamyn never questioned Jakob's skills. He nodded without a word. And when, Jakob turned toward Benjamyn both brother's bit their skin and held their palms together. This time, they thought-spoke because they kept their glare at each other.

"Take to the right...," Jakob spoke.
Benjamyn's head fell a tad, "Why can't they just leave us alone...?"
"Stop it. Take the right. Jakob demanded.

And when Benjamyn and Jakob released their hands Benjamyn to the right, and Jakob to the left. Both looking at each other. First, Benjamyn built up his energy, Jakob mimicing, both brothers at the same time, Jakob pushed Dusty away with his mind, and Benjamyn gave enough energy to get hte vampire stumbling. At once, Benjamyn pounced sending the vampire down with him.

((This one may suck too...I tried. I'm sorry. hope it's okay.))

It had been over a year since she had walked these streets. A few weeks of those had been spent recoverining pyhsically from the last time she had been here. She had spent much longer than that too emotionally drained to fight her family trying to "cure" her, for the damn good it had done, but once she had gotten her resolve back she fought back with force and showed them she was not one who could be "cured" or messed with. They blamed her still for her cousin's brush with death because they could not believe what she told them, and didn't understand. They thought she did it. So be it. They both were fine and that was all that mattered. She used to blame Ben for what had been done, but when she had gotten her head on straight, she realized that she had known all along it wasn't his fault.

Once she had gotten away she had used her time and energy getting her strength back, and becoming more powerful than ever. Healing, singing spells, inner magic, fighting, all of it. Now she was ready to come back to what she had been forced to leave and face the music.

It was a dark night, but the moonlight, where visible shined brightly. The leaves swayed and the trees danced in the breezed that swished her pitch black cloack she wore over the slinky velvty material of the dresses she always wore. Even without the cloak, the plum colored material would have blended into the night perfectly.

Her sharp mysterious blueish-green eyes didn't miss a single details of her surroundings although she felt more than she actually "saw". Her chestnut colored hair, and almond shaped eyes, gently formed nose on a slender oval face were hidden under the hood of her cloak. Only her plump, yet delicate lips were visible in the soft light she traveled in on foot, though she doubt even if anyone was around they saw her. Her aura was hidden and had been hidden LONG before she had arrived. She didn't want anyone to know she was here....not yet.

She was walking silently in the old abandaned housing area in New York. Many auras were around her but none were the ones she sought. She sighed inwardly in frustration. It was a hunch that had made her come here, she'd learned to trust her hunches. Determained to walk a little farther before she gave up and went somewhere else, she kept going.

Walking under a dead oak tree she was just about to give up and walk somewhere else when she felt it...them....all of them? That couldn't be right. But she knew it was. She disappeared and reappeared just inside of the house where the auras where coming from. Making sure that all of her and her aura were extremely well hidden she took a deep breath followed them until she found pretty much what she expected.

Both sets of twins fighting each other. She fought down a little sense of panic, and all the over-whelming emotions that had flooded her last time and been responsible for almost killing her....sort of. She thought she had been ready for them...but she still wasn't. There HE was...there THEY were. The ones that had turned her world upside down in such a DAMN short time. She wanted to run to him, hug him, kiss him, protect him...from the other she
couldn't harm...She knew he didn't need it, but that's love for you. Shaking her her own head to clear it, she came here to do what she had to do.

Keeping all but a small bit of her hands covered in her dark cloak, she gathered her power, chanted a little incation to ensure the spells effectivness, then raised her arms slightly and shouted at the top of her lungs so it affected them all "gèlent, tous arrêtons !"

For a moment, just a moment, she stood there, drinking in the sight of him, watching the confusion spread over his face and allowed herself a small smile. He hadn't changed, which didn't surprise her much. Why would he? Her love..

Still hidden she watched as everyone in the room froze, and couldn't move, then she stepped into the room just enough so that they all saw "the hooded figure". Then in a voice that was not quite her own she said
"And just what, may I ask, do you all think you are doing?"

Jakob paced around his brother and vampire, murder in his dark black eyes. Benjamyn managed to crack a few bones so that both Jakob and Benjamyn had time to attack when he was ready.

Bejamyn was the first to look up at the hooded figure. His black spiked hair was now laying flat on his forehead. From behind, Jakob kept his usual straight look, but with his other eye he kept it on the vampire.

Benjamyn glanced over at his borther once Dee spoke, he searched fir an approval to speak, but saw none in Jakob's eyes. Turning away slowly, he disparted and appeared into the main hall. Still thinking what he should do.

Jakob slowly walked passed the wounded vampire, pushed Dustin out of the way with his shoulder and went into the main hall as well. "Don't you dare speak why we are here. We are in enough trouble already."

"But....It isn't fair.." Benjamyn spoke through his soft voice.

Jakob gave him a murdious gaze then looked over at the twins. His eyes shot back back at his brother, "Do you see, dear brother? They, over there...are hunters like the rest. if they wanted to, they could send us to hell."

"No, not them. The Rose twins aren't like the others....the burning bastards."

Jakob spat blood just beside Benjamyn, angrily with his words. Benjamyn kept his gaze down.

"Why is it always us that is hunted?"
